Piazza Pet of the Week

The staff of Piazza Honda of Reading are excited about our Pet Adoption Program called the Piazza Pet of the Week!  Each Wednesday at 7:50am during the Chris Stigall show on 1210-AM WPHT, the new Piazza Pet of the Week will be announced by the PSPCA!

The PSPCA is headquartered in Philadelphia where they were founded nearly 150 years ago! The PSPCA is the largest and most comprehensive humane society in Pennsylvania. Join their mission and support the programs that improve the lives of animals in our region!

Please scroll to watch Leila in the video below! Delilah is available for adoption!

Leila is a two year old Pittie Mix. She was found back in mid-March on the side of the road with a gaping head wound. The Humane Law Enforcement Team brought her in immediately thanks to a tip from a Good Samaritan. Leila had surgery to close her skull wound and also remove her badly damaged right eye. Leila is still a happy and playful girl! She has so much love to give her forever family!
 Ace - Adopted!!
Ace is a five year old Chihuahua Mix. He was rescued by the PSPCA's Humane Law Enforcement Team and since his rescue has doubled in size. This sweet guy is ready to find his forever home! He is a great candidate for homes with children of all ages. Ace does have a heart murmur and an ocular ulcer in his right eye - but this doesn't slow him down. He is pretty perfect!
Delilah is a two month old domestic short hair kitten. She is super cute and is tolerant of cuddle and being picked up! Delilah's eyelids are a little abnormal but this doesn't slow her down! As she matures, she may require surgery, or she may just need eye drops for the rest of her life.
 Nutmeg - Adopted!!
Nutmeg is a super sweet six year old female American Bully Mix. She was rescued last week by the PSPCA's Humane Law Enforcement Team. Her canine siblings have been adopted, but she is still in search of her forever family. Nutmeg is approved for any home!
 Natasha - Adopted!!
Natasha is a one year old Pittie/Labrador Retriever Mix. She is a wonderfully sweet dog, if a little shy at first. Natasha would best fit in homes with children ages 8 and up! She would likely do well with other dogs.
 Tia - Adopted!!
Tia is a one year old grey tabby cat. Tia is sweet and friendly and can go into any home. She was found as a stray by a Good Samaritan who brought her to the shelter. Tia is FIV positive (weak immune system) and has a mild neurological condition that makes her walk funny. All of this does not slow her down. Tia cannot wait to meet you!
 Daisy - Adopted!!
Daisy is a three year old Pocket Pittie/Cane Corso Mix. She has been with the PSPCA since last September and is ready for her forever home. She is currently in foster care and her foster mom says she is house trained, crate trained, and hanging out with her foster brother, Henry (he's a dog!). Daisy loves to love her favorite people and really likes her toys too. She would best fit in an adult-only home.
 Colt - Adopted!!
Colt is a 2 year old Pit Bull Terrier Mix. He is a real charmer with his big beautiful eyes and handsome face. Colt enjoys going for walks and he is the biggest fan of peanut butter. Colt likes to relax and take naps too. This sweet and gentle guy can't wait to meet you!
