Piazza Pet of the Week

The staff of Piazza Honda of Reading are excited about our Pet Adoption Program called the Piazza Pet of the Week!  Each Wednesday at 7:50am during the Chris Stigall show on 1210-AM WPHT, the new Piazza Pet of the Week will be announced by the PSPCA!

The PSPCA is headquartered in Philadelphia where they were founded nearly 150 years ago! The PSPCA is the largest and most comprehensive humane society in Pennsylvania. Join their mission and support the programs that improve the lives of animals in our region!

 Pup Pup
Pup Pup is a four year old Pittie Mix. She came to the PSPCA a shy and ear infection riddled dog. Pup Pup's ear infections were so severe she needs a $5,000 ear surgery. The PSPCA is fundraising her surgery, but she still needs a wonderful forever home! Pup Pup loves kids! She would be a great candidate for homes with kids ages six and up. Stop by the PSPCA to meet Pup Pup today!
 
  
 Vernon - Adopted!!
Vernon is a two year old Chihuahua Mix. Vernon is so sweet and cuddly. Vernon is a candidate for any home! He is good with children of all ages and other dogs. Vernon cannot wait to meet his forever family!
 
  
 Karma
Karma is a a five year old Bulldog Mix. She was rescued by the PSPCA's Humane Law Enforcement Team. Karma is super sweet and has a lot of energy too. She loves her people, meeting new people, and is approved for homes with children of all ages! Karma cannot wait to meet you!
 
  
 Peppa
Peppa is a three year old Labrador Retriever Mix. She would best fit in homes with teenagers as she is high energy and loves to love you! Peppa walks loosely on a leash and her favorite past times include being affectionate and chasing tennis balls! Peppa has been at the PSPCA for three months because she does not show well in her kennel. She would rather be playing and training at home with you! Go meet her!
 
  
 Kaya - Adopted!!
Kaya is a two year old Pittie Mix. She was pulled to the PSPCA from ACCT in August. Kaya is looking for her forever family! She is very sweet and loves to meet new people! Kaya is gentle with her treats, walks well on her leash, and knows some commands. She is a great dog looking for her amazing family! Stop by the PSPCA today to meet her.
 
  
 Zeus - Adopted!!
Zeus is a sweet and adorable 4 month old Pittie Puppy! You can meet him at Puppapalooza on August 30th at Morgan's Pier. Zeus was rescued by the PSPCA's Humane Law Enforcement Team because his owners were not caring for him. Zeus suffered from puppy strangles which almost took one of his eye, but thankfully he made a full recovery!
 
  
 Leila - Adopted!!
Leila is a two year old Pittie Mix. She was found back in mid-March on the side of the road with a gaping head wound. The Humane Law Enforcement Team brought her in immediately thanks to a tip from a Good Samaritan. Leila had surgery to close her skull wound and also remove her badly damaged right eye. Leila is still a happy and playful girl! She has so much love to give her forever family!
 
  
 Ace - Adopted!!
Ace is a five year old Chihuahua Mix. He was rescued by the PSPCA's Humane Law Enforcement Team and since his rescue has doubled in size. This sweet guy is ready to find his forever home! He is a great candidate for homes with children of all ages. Ace does have a heart murmur and an ocular ulcer in his right eye - but this doesn't slow him down. He is pretty perfect!
 
  
 Delilah - Adopted!!
Delilah is a two month old domestic short hair kitten. She is super cute and is tolerant of cuddle and being picked up! Delilah's eyelids are a little abnormal but this doesn't slow her down! As she matures, she may require surgery, or she may just need eye drops for the rest of her life.
