Water-Based Auto Paint Makes Every Color Green - Sikkens Water Based Paint
Water based paints are the future of automotive coatings and the Piazza Reading Collision Center is one of the only body repair centers in
the area that has been using it for
years. It is an eco-friendly automotive painting option that reduces
the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) improving air quality
and reducing health risks to all involved. Water based paint also has
faster drying time and requires less coats which results in a superior
finish in less time. This means the customer has their vehicle returned to them sooner. So when you use Reading Collision Center for your auto body painting needs you will not only have a speedy and great result but you are doing the environment a favor. | ![]() |
A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words.
Here is an example of The Reading Collision Center's auto body work on this 2010 Subaru Legacy. The car was only two days old when it was struck by a deer. But you would never know it incurred any damage in the after photo.

Do you know your rights?
You have the right to go to the repair shop of your choice. Your insurance company cannot require you to go to a particular shop. Also, there is no law requiring you to obtain more than one estimate or appraisal.
Some insurance companies may want you to visit their drive-in claims center before having your car repaired. You can do this, or you may leave your car at our body shop and ask that the insurance company inspect the car here.
Differences in repair estimates are common. A lower estimate may not include all necessary work. If you are not sure why one estimate is different from another, please ask us. Let us negotiate your claim with the insurance company for you. We are on your side and offer our commitment to excellent workmanship on all body shop repairs. Please let us help you!
