Piazza Pet of the Week

The staff of Piazza Honda of Reading are excited about our Pet Adoption Program called the Piazza Pet of the Week!  Each Wednesday at 7:50am during the Chris Stigall show on 1210-AM WPHT, the new Piazza Pet of the Week will be announced by the PSPCA!

The PSPCA is headquartered in Philadelphia where they were founded nearly 150 years ago! The PSPCA is the largest and most comprehensive humane society in Pennsylvania. Join their mission and support the programs that improve the lives of animals in our region!

Please scroll to watch Hunter and Harley in the video below. Iris, Pepper, Diva, Greyson, and Arrow are still up for adoption.

 Hunter and Harley
Hunter and Harley are Labrador Retriever/Hound mixes. These adorable puppies are brother and sister! They are social and curious and would love to find their forever home! With their gentle nature they are candidates for homes with young children. Hunter and Harley were pulled from another shelter and would love to meet you all!
Greyson is an 8 month old Pittie Mix. He is social and gentle and very active as most puppies are. Greyson came to the PSPCA after being pulled from the city shelter. His previous owners decided that they could no longer care for him. Greyson can go into any home with children and other dogs. He is a great dog and wants to find his forever family!
 Bandit - Adopted!!
Bandit is a 3 year old Catahoula Leopard dog/Collie mix. Bandit came to the PSPCA from another shelter. Not only is he a beautiful dog, but he is also very smart and friendly too! Bandit has attended many events as a spokesperson for the PSPCA and done very well, enjoying everyone he meets. He does have some fear of new things, but will definitely  make a wonderful companion!
 Bunny - Adopted!!
Bunny is a 4 year old Pittie Mix. She recently had a litter of puppies and went into foster care with them until they were old enough to be on their own. Bunny came to the PSPCA as a victim of cruelty. She can be shy and scared at first but will warm up to people quickly. Due to her shyness, Bunny would be best in a home with older children. She deserves a great home!
 Hulk - Adopted!!
Hulk is a 2 year old hound mix. He is very handsome! Hulk is very polite and quiet and he has made many friends at the PSPCA. Hulk came to the shelter as a victim of cruelty with many other dogs. All of them have been adopted except for Hulk. He has been patiently waiting his turn at finding his forever family! He doesn't show well in his kennel, so don't let that discourage you! Hulk is the best dog!
Arrow is a friendly and social 2 year old Pittie Mix. He came to the PSPCA as part of the Richard Lichter Charity for Dogs Program. He was pulled from the city shelter in a very skinny state. Arrow received the best care from the shelter hospital and is fully recovered and ready to find his forever family! Arrow is the wiggliest dog on the planet, wagging his tail with his entire body. He also hasn't met a person he doesn't like yet!
 Cocoa - Adopted!!
Cocoa is a youthful 7 year old Pittie Mix. She is looking for her forever family! Cocoa was adopted into a family for several years, and unfortunately was returned when they moved away. Cocoa loves her belly rubs! She also likes to play with her tennis balls and go for walks. Cocoa is dog selective and guards her food and toys. For those reasons, she would best fit in an adult household where she can be trained some more.
Diva is an adult female Pit Bull. She was rescued by the Humane Law Enforcement Team. She didn't arrive in the best shape at the shelter, but she is recovering well and showing off her shining personality! Diva loves to greet everyone and she is always smiling. Come in to meet this happy girl today!
Pepper is a 4 year old Pit Bull mix. She is sweet and friendly and has the best laid back personality. Pepper is a celebrity around the shelter. Everyone loves her. She is up for anything! She loves to go for walks, take car rides, and snuggle. Pepper is anxiously awaiting her forever family. Come on down to the PSPCA and see if she would complete your family!
Iris is a 4 year old Pittie Mix. She is very sweet and energetic and loves to go for walks with her other canine friends. Iris was rescued by the PSPCA's Humane Law Enforcement offices in 2014 and sadly has never been adopted. She should be the only pet in the house when she goes home. She isn't a fan of cats, but can get along well with other dogs who are leashed. Is Iris for you?
