Piazza Pet of the Week

The staff of Piazza Honda of Reading are excited about our Pet Adoption Program called the Piazza Pet of the Week!  Each Wednesday at 7:50am during the Chris Stigall show on 1210-AM WPHT, the new Piazza Pet of the Week will be announced by the PSPCA!

The PSPCA is headquartered in Philadelphia where they were founded nearly 150 years ago! The PSPCA is the largest and most comprehensive humane society in Pennsylvania. Join their mission and support the programs that improve the lives of animals in our region!

Taz can go to events where he loves meeting everyone and they all love him. Taz is good with people of all ages, from children up to Seniors. He is the preferred choice of new volunteers to take to training classes. Taz is also good with other dogs. Come meet this handsome guy today!
 Fiona - Adopted!!
Fiona is a 4 month old Selkirk Rex kitten. She is a grey calico with wavy hair. The Selkirk Rex breed emerged in England in the 1960s.  Taylor - Adopted!!
Taylor is a 7 year old Rottweiler. She is still very active and likes her treats. Taylor was surrendered to the PSPCA because her family has a new baby in the home. Taylor was with her former family for her entire life. She is a sweetheart! Taylor is friendly with strangers and she likes everyone. Taylor would be a good fit in a home with older children.
Roo - Adopted!!
Meet Roo, a 4-year-old pittie mix who was pulled from the city shelter as part of the PSPCA's Richard Lichter program. This program allows them to pull dogs with solvable medical issues into their care. She is a playful girl, who is also very gentle in her nature, and greets everyone she meets with nothing but love. She is sweet as can be! She is friendly and social, and for that reason can go into nearly any home. She is also playful and tolerant of other dogs, and would do well with other pups with the same play style.

 Pearl - Adopted!!
Pearl is a 3 year old Pittie Mix. She is so happy and smiley and a little rambunctious. Pearl would best fit in a home with teens and adults to help keep her calm and work on her manners. Pearl really loves other dogs! She would do great to run and play with another dog. Pearl is ready to find her forever family! Come meet this happy girl today!
Jerry is a 3 year old Pittie Mix. He was rescued by the PSPCA's Humane Law Enforcement Department. Jerry is a lover and very excited dog! He loves everyone he meets and jumps on people because he cannot contain his excitement. Due to his energy level, he would do best in a home with teens and older children. Come meet Jerry and his brother Ben today!
 Whiskers - Adopted!!
Whiskers is a 6 year old domestic long-haired grey and white cat. This friendly guy was surrendered by his owner to the PSPCA's Danville center. His previous owner could no longer take care of him. Whiskers is good with cats and other dogs. He likes children too as long as they are not pestering him! Whiskers adoption fee is only $20 with the purchase of a collar and tag until June 30th.
 Ruppy - Adopted!!
Ruppy is a 5 year old Beagle/Australian Kelpie mix. Ruppy is a sweet dog who loves his toys and would love it even more to find his forever family. It takes him a little while to calm down after going for a car ride or being left alone. The PSPCA recommends crating if left alone for extended periods of time. Ruppy would love a fenced in yard or access to a dog park where he can roam freely.
Holly is a 10 year old beautiful Pittie Mix. She is part of the PSPCA's Senior Prom promotion. Holly loves to be around people, have her belly rubbed, and go for walks. She walks so nicely on her leash! Holly is house broken and crate trained also. She is on a low cost daily medication to keep her healthy. Other than that, she is more than ready to find her forever family!
