Piazza Pet of the Week

The staff of Piazza Honda of Reading are excited about our Pet Adoption Program called the Piazza Pet of the Week!  Each Wednesday at 7:50am during the Chris Stigall show on 1210-AM WPHT, the new Piazza Pet of the Week will be announced by the PSPCA!

The PSPCA is headquartered in Philadelphia where they were founded nearly 150 years ago! The PSPCA is the largest and most comprehensive humane society in Pennsylvania. Join their mission and support the programs that improve the lives of animals in our region!

 Beast
Beast is an 8 year old male Pittie Mix. He loves everyone he meets! Beast likes other dogs and cats too. He was surrendered to the Danville shelter because his owner was being deployed. Beast knows all his commands and he is house trained. Come meet this handsome and sweet Pittie Mix today.
 
  
 Lerna - Adopted!!
Lerna is a 2 year old Pittie Mix who was brought in as a stray to the new PSPCA Lancaster Center. She is available to be adopted at the Philly location. Lerna is sweet and friendly and loves to meet new people. The Lancaster Center will be open for adoptions this coming weekend!! Come meet your new best friend!
 
  
 Pepper - Adopted!!
Pepper is a sweet and lovable 5 year old Labrador Retriever. She was rescued by the PSPCA's Humane Law Enforcement Department earlier this year. Pepper is a volunteer and shelter favorite. She has received one too many treats and now is on a weight loss plan. Pepper is a good candidate for any home except those with cats. Come meet this sweet girl today!
 
  
 Colt 
Colt is a 2 year old Pit Bull Terrier Mix. He is a real charmer with his big beautiful eyes and handsome face. Colt enjoys going for walks and he is the biggest fan of peanut butter. Colt likes to relax and take naps too. This sweet and gentle guy can't wait to meet you!
 
  
 Sleepy - Adopted!!
Sleepy is an 8 year old white and grey Chihuahua mix. Sleepy came to the PSPCA through their Humane Law Enforcement Department and has been living with us since July of this year. Sleepy is friendly and social and happy to be picked up by his human friends! Come say hi to Sleepy today!
 
  
 Baby - Adopted!!
Baby is a 6 year old Pit Bull Terrier Mix. She was rescued by the PSPCA's Humane Law Enforcement Team back in July and is now ready to be adopted! Baby is sweet and social and at just 34 lbs, the most precious pocket pittie! Baby's adoption fee is waived courtesy of Cameron Rupp! He sponsored the adoptions of a few pets and Baby is the last one to be adopted. Come meet her today!
 
  
 Big Boy  - Adopted!!
Big Boy is a 6 year old Terrier Mix. Big Boy has been at the PSPCA for over a year and is more than ready to find his forever family! Big Boy loves to run and is looking for his running buddy. He also likes to snuggle, people watch, play, and do tricks. Big Boy is crate trained! He isn't fond of cats, but would fit in a home with teenagers and young adults.  Beauty - Adopted!!
Beauty is a pretty Pittie Mix! She is two years old and very friendly and sweet. Beauty has made a lot of friends at the shelter but she would love to find her forever family! Taz is a 9 year old Pittie Mix. Taz is the perfect dog! He is very gentle and very loving and he will do anything and go anywhere to be with his friends at the shelter. Taz can go to events where he loves meeting everyone and they all love him. Taz is good with people of all ages, from children up to Seniors.  Fiona - Adopted!!
Fiona is a 4 month old Selkirk Rex kitten. She is a grey calico with wavy hair. The Selkirk Rex breed emerged in England in the 1960s. Fiona has a slender built, wavy hair, and large ears as characteristic of the breed. Fiona is so ready to find her forever family!
